Sending aid to the Caribbean following Hurricane Irma

8th September 2017

hurricane irmaAquabox is in direct contact with a number of organisations working to assist those affected by the terrible devastation caused by Hurricane Irma, including international aid agencies, the UK government and the various Caribbean island governments and departments for disaster management in Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, British Virgin Islands and the Turks and Caicos Islands, as well as the Rotary Districts in the region.

We are working extremely hard to explore the best ways in which our community and family water filters and humanitarian aid boxes can be distributed quickly and effectively to those in most urgent need of help and access to clean drinking water.

Each Aquabox is designed for a family and contains a filter for providing safe drinking water as well as over 70 humanitarian aid items, including shelter materials and tools, blankets and sheets, cooking utensils, personal hygiene items, baby and children’s clothing, educational items and toys.

We are very grateful to those who have responded to our appeal so far with donations, but we urgently need more to enable us to provide support to affected families during this critical period.

Please help Aquabox help those in need following Hurricane Irma.
