The March Madness Barn Dance held at The Maltings in Wirksworth on Saturday 2nd March made over £800 which was fantastic. The funds raised are to be split equally between Aquabox and St Mary’s Church in Wirksworth.
It was a very enjoyable and fun evening and our thanks go to all those involved with the organisation and food preparation on the night, the Windmill Folk Band for providing the music and caller Ian Todd for trying to give some semblance of order to the proceedings! It was quite something to witness over 50 dancers “stripping the willow”!
