World Water Day 2021

22nd March 2021

March 22nd is World Water Day. This presents us all with the chance to reflect on our own use of water, global water supply and solutions to health and economic problems associated with dirty water sources.

World Water Day 2021Safe water is essential for both survival and good health. It is the key element in our existence. It plays a pivotal role in rebuilding communities and encouraging the resilience of individuals as they restore local economies.

At Aquabox, our overriding aim is to provide aid, most significantly water filtration equipment, in the immediate aftermath of disasters (both natural and man-made) and also where persistent endemic conditions impact on the supply of clean, safe water.

Although we have been in lockdown for much of the time since the 2020 World Water Day, our charity has supplied water filters across the world capable of producing a supply of clean water to over 13,000 people. Our filters give IMMEDIATE access to water. There is no delay in supply and no lengthy gravity-based filtration.

Can you help us continue our work?

Just £25 buys a water filter for a family of 5 or 6.

£250 buys a Community filter for schools, field hospitals, village centres and will supply a population of around 500.
