We would be very happy to come along to your club, school, organisation or company to tell you all about the Aquabox project and the work we do to provide humanitarian aid in times of crisis around the world. We are establishing a network of Aquabox Ambassadors across the country, who are able to come along and give a presentation and demo to you wherever you are based.
We'll tell you all about the history of Aquabox, how the life-giving AquaFilters are assembled by our volunteers in Derbyshire, what goes in our humanitarian aid boxes, our latest campaigns and how you can help. We will also bring along a demonstration unit to illustrate how the AquaFilter is able to convert dirty water into safe drinking water and, if you're feeling brave, you will have the opportunity to operate the AquaFilter and to sample the filtered water.
Over the past 25+ years, members of the Aquabox team have travelled throughout the UK demonstrating filters and delivering presentations to interested groups and organisations. During this time, unlike many other charities, we have never requested fees. Not surprisingly, this activity can be costly to the individual team members and to the charity itself.
As we develop and expand our work, we are receiving increasing numbers of speaker requests and so we have taken the decision to suggest that a minimum donation of £50 to Aquabox be sought from groups who request a speaker. This amount purchases 2 family filters which have the potential to deliver 1 million litres of safe drinking water. (Please note this does not apply to school/youth groups.)
If you'd like to book a speaker to hear more about this life-saving community project, please fill in your details below and we will contact you to make arrangements.
