Seven lucky families had a wonderful surprise when two Aquabox volunteers went to The Gambia in November and took seven Family Filters with them in their suitcases.
Twenty volunteers make between 60 and 80 filters a week at the Aquabox depot in Wirksworth and have made over 19,000 since 2011. Aquabox water filters have been dispatched to more than 12 countries in 2018, all affected by the lack of clean water as a result of natural or man-made disasters.
