Another lockdown shipment leaves the Aquabox depot

19th November 2020

After many weeks of negotiation and obtaining assurance of secure distribution, a shipment of 144 family water filters and 4 community filters left the Aquabox depot on Thursday 19th November, bound for Beirut. The shipment is due to arrive within the week.

Aquabox Shipment to BeirutThe water filters are being air-freighted and have the potential to provide safe drinking water for more than 2,500 people in the city, which is still reeling from the after-effects of the massive dock explosion in August this year.

Aquabox is proud to have been able to help with this ongoing need and is investigating if further help can be provided.
