Working in conjunction with our partner Christian African Relief Trust (CART), 25 Aquabox Community Filters were shipped from the depot in May 2016 destined for Cameroon.
Cameroon is experiencing an ongoing water crisis and, as is often the case, the first victims of any crisis are children. Many schools are operating without water and children use water from very unsafe sources such as streams, wells and rivers for drinking and cleaning. The deployment of Aquabox Community Filters will go a long way to reduce water-borne diseases and illness, and of course to greatly improve levels of attendance at school.
