With activities including abseiling, cooking and bushcraft skill, Swanwick Quantum Scouts can now add AquaBlue and AquaSilver challenges to their skill set. Ray and Sylvia Spare created the Aquabox challenge over two years ago and they were there in person to hand over the sort after certificates. Silvia said, “They were a lovely group of scouters and so proud of their achievement.”
As part of the challenge, they raised a fantastic £250, handing over the cheque to Ray and Syliva during the presentation.
Since its inception in 2023 the Aquabox Challenge has raised nearly £12,000 for Aquabox. Over the same time Silvia and Ray estimate they have spoken to over 14,000 young people at guiding and scout groups across the UK, and recently overseas.
