Our Volunteers

More than 70 volunteers drawn from the local community and further afield attend the Aquabox depot each week to assemble the water filters or pack the boxes with humanitarian aid, ready for dispatch to countries suffering from the effects of disasters, whether natural or man-made.

Our volunteers come from all ages and backgrounds. We also have a number of young people within the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme who spend time at the depot as part of Volunteering section of the award.

In recognition of the contribution made to helping those in need and of the work put in by all the volunteers, Aquabox was very proud to receive the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service in June 2016.

Why not come and visit us at the depot and see at first hand the work our volunteers do? You can even help pack the aid boxes and assemble the water filters.

We couldn’t do it without our partners
