When disaster strikes, one of the most urgent requirement is for safe drinking water. At Aquabox we respond by sending water filters as soon as we can. Working closely with selected aid agencies and distribution partners, we can make sure our aid reaches those in need rapidly.
Today’s Earthquakes in Myanmar and surrounding countries is devastating news. We have already reached out to our partners in Thailand to establish how we can help.
As early reports mention, information from the epicentre in Myanmar is more difficult given the current major power conflicts.
We have some stock of our water filters and aid boxes ready to ship as soon as we receive updates from our partners on the ground. In the meantime, our packing and filter assembly teams are gearing up to prepare consignments of filters and humanitarian aid to support the disaster response teams.
Once the secure supply routes have been set up our water filters will provide much-needed safe drinking water to families and communities as well as preventing the spread of deadly waterborne diseases in the aftermath of this devastating earthquake.
