Last week was a busy one for shipments, not only did we despatch 350 family and 10 community filters to Venezuela but also, a shipment to Ukraine.
Following the recent earthquake in Venezuela, the shipment went to the worst affected area La Guaira state, which was the epicentre. This will support 8,500 people with clean, safe water.
The shipment of 360 family filters, on Friday 17th July was the 20th we have sent since the onset of hostilities in Ukraine – providing further support to communities in the country whose utility infrastructure has been destroyed during the conflict, which is now in its 4th year.
Our partner for this shipment is John Midgley with the destination being Ukraine-Lviv. John has made many journeys into Ukraine and where possible will take Aquabox water filters, where they continue to provide clean, safe drinking water.
