After many weeks of negotiation and obtaining assurance of secure distribution, a shipment of 144 family water filters and 4 community filters left the Aquabox depot on Thursday 19th November, bound for Beirut. The shipment is due to arrive within the week.
The water filters are being air-freighted and have the potential to provide safe drinking water for more than 2,500 people in the city, which is still reeling from the after-effects of the massive dock explosion in August this year.
Aquabox is proud to have been able to help with this ongoing need and is investigating if further help can be provided.
We rely entirely on donations to help us continue with our life-saving work. Please support us if you can. Thank you.

Great news – the consignment of water filters we sent out to Beirut has now cleared customs and is being distributed by local Rotary Club members to people in need in the community. The picture shows the filters starting their journey in Beirut.
