This may not immediately seem the obvious combination – water at a beer festival! – but Aquabox was delighted to be chosen as the charity supported at the recent Ashbourne CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) beer festival.
Aquabox team members staffed a demonstration stand at the festival and were delighted with the response from the people who visited to find out more about our water filters and our humanitarian work.
Thanks to the efforts of Aquabox volunteers, in the past two months alone, we have sent over £90,000 worth of water purification filters and other humanitarian aid items to help people cope with the floods in Kerala in Southern India and to support the thousands of displaced people in Cameroon.
We rely totally on donations to carry out our work and were delighted to receive over £450 from the CAMRA event. This is enough to purchase 18 Family Filters, or 3 Aquaboxes, or a Community Filter.
Aquabox sincerely thanks Ashbourne CAMRA for its generosity.
