10th October 2019
Earlier this year Aquabox learned it had been chosen as the nominated charity by Ashbourne CAMRA at their very successful annual Beer and Cider Festival in September.
A cheque for £453.15 was presented at the Aquabox depot on 10th October by representatives of Ashbourne CAMRA, Grahame Burke, Colin Terry and John Chamberlin (who also volunteers at the charity). There to receive the cheque was Chair of Aquabox Trustees Roger Cassidy and Trustee Roz Adamson.
Aquabox relies totally on donations to be able to carry out its life saving work. The funds donated by Ashbourne CAMRA will provide filters capable of producing a supply of safe drinking water for over 450 people in dire need in the aftermath of disasters across the world.
On behalf of all at Aquabox, thank you.
