Local bands Please Y’Self, Left Hand Drive and the Wam Bam Band performed to a sell-out crowd at the Edgefold Club in Matlock on Friday 1st November.
The bands gave their time freely and as a result Aquabox has received around £2500 in profits. To put this in context, this money can provide 4000 people with a means of obtaining safe drinking water.
Our next scheduled shipment will be the third we have sent out to Yemen and this exemplifies just one of the very difficult destinations which receives our aid.
Aquabox relies totally on donations to continue its work. The generosity of the public who came to the concert, and the bands and technical support who gave up their time, has helped us so much. On behalf of our charity – thank you.
