We have just received a very nice letter from the Gurkha Welfare Trust (GWT) thanking Aquabox for the humanitarian aid we have sent to Nepal, which has helped so many communities in that country over recent years.
When an Aquabox shipment is received at the British Gurkha Rifles HQ in Kathmandu a number of pallets are kept aside for the GWT, before the main shipment is distributed by Rotary in Nepal and the Nepal Armed Police through their warehousing facility.
GWT are heavily involved in ensuring the retired Gurkhas and families are catered for in all aspects of life. Most families are located high up in mountain villages where services are non-existent hence the help of GWT, Rotary Nepal and Aquabox not forgetting John Monaghan.
