Our Volunteers
More than 70 volunteers drawn from the local community and further afield attend the Aquabox depot each week to assemble the water filters or pack the boxes with humanitarian aid, ready for dispatch to countries suffering from the effects of disasters, whether natural or man-made.
Our volunteers come from all ages and backgrounds. Aquabox is a vibrant community project with over 70 volunteers, of all ages, drawn from the local community and further afield, who come to our Peak District depot each week.
Our volunteers manufacture, assemble, test and pack the family filters. We also have a teams of packers for the Aqua-aid humanitarian boxes
In recognition of the contribution made to helping those in need and of the work put in by all the volunteers, Aquabox was very proud to receive the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service in June 2016.
Why not come and visit us at the depot and see at first hand the work our volunteers do? You can even help pack the aid boxes and assemble the water filters.
We couldn’t do it without our partners
We’re proud of our historic relationship with Rotary members around the country. Their continued support has not
just increased our fund-raising opportunities, but allowed us to increase the awareness of Aquabox around the globe.
