The theme chosen for this year’s Well Dressing by the Rotary Club of Wirksworth was to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Aquabox. The Well Dressing was one of about 12 around the town as part of the celebrations of the Wirksworth Carnival over the May Bank Holiday weekend.
It was designed with a number of circular pictures depicting the various disasters which Aquabox has responded to by sending vital humanitarian aid and life-saving water filters, including an earthquake, volcano, flooding, drought, tsunami and forest fire.
