We have just received a very nice letter from the Gurkha Welfare Trust (GWT) thanking Aquabox for the humanitarian aid we have sent to Nepal, which has helped so many communities in that country over recent years.

We are very pleased to announce that Aquabox has been awarded membership of FIRE AID and International Development under the category ‘FIRE AID Member’.
Demand for our water filters to help provide access to clean water following disasters, has grown exponentially since lockdown: Turkey/Syria earthquakes, Ukraine conflict, Pakistan floods, Yemen refugee camps, to name just a few.
“We were all taken aback at the numbers that arrived!” That was the reaction from Aquabox trustee Roz Adamson, after the first volunteer recruitment morning on Saturday 18th February.

A new teacher resource pack containing slide presentations and background information on the work of Aquabox has been created and is available for immediate use. It consists of three separate units which can easily be downloaded and modified to suit local requirements.
