Aquabox Celebrates 30 Years of International Aid

Aquabox has just celebrated its 30th birthday – and has continued to send water filters and humanitarian aid to disaster zones and conflict areas around the world, despite the Covid-19 pandemic.

Ukraine becomes our number one priority

At the Aquabox Trustees meeting on 10th May, the Aquabox board agreed that in view of the unfolding situation in Ukraine, we will make this our number one priority for the production and supply of shipments of Aquafilters for the coming six months.

Aquabox supports Ukraine

Working with our delivery partners, Aquabox has been able to support Ukraine on a number of fronts. The feedback we have been receiving from our partners indicates that there is a need for medical aid and rescue equipment to the areas impacted by the events in Ukraine. This has informed our decision making in determining what aid to send and where.

Aquabox Walks For Water

Aquabox will be celebrating its 30th birthday in June this year and we are encouraging groups across the whole of Britain to mark the anniversary year by organising a fund-raising Walk for Water in 2022.

Latest shipment for Yemen leaves the depot

25th March 2022

Three hundred Gold Boxes departed our depot this morning bound for Yemen. The boxes were sent intitailly to one of our partners JOY (Jubilee Outreach Yorkshire), who completed the shipment with much-needed medical and educational items.

Aquabox sends initial consignment of aid to Ukraine

A consignment of 4 Community Filters was delivered yesterday to the Ukrainian association, who were sending a lorry full of medical equipment along with our filters to Lviv, for onward distribution to eastern Ukraine.
