20,000 Family Filters and counting…

We have just reached a fantastic milestone! Our filter assemblers have produced the 20,000th Family Filter – a remarkable achievement. To put this into context, these filters will have had the potential to save well in excess of 120,000 lives, providing clean drinking water and preventing the spread of water-borne diseases.

Aquabox features on BBC East Midlands Today

Aquabox got a significant boost to its public profile on Tuesday 6th April, when BBC East Midlands Today visited the charity’s new depot between Wirksworth and Cromford and gave us more than two minutes of prime time television coverage the same evening.

Aquabox helps those affected by Cyclone Idai

3rd April 2019

Since news of Cyclone Idai hit the headlines the Aquabox team has been working flat out to establish secure links with distribution agencies in Zimbabwe, Malawi and Mozambique. Following much hard work by our volunteer filter assembly teams and packers we have air-freighted (Wednesday 3rd April) the following aid consignments. These are scheduled to arrive at their destination by 8th/9th April.
