Aquabox response to the Bahamas

After first receiving the news of the devastation being caused by Hurricane Dorian across the Bahamas late last week Aquabox moved swiftly into planning how best we could respond to this major disaster.

Following a visit of 28 Rotarians from 5 Rotary Clubs in the Peterborough area to our depot on Friday 26th July, we were so pleased to see the coverage for Aquabox in the Peterborough Telegraph under the very apt heading ‘Something we take for granted’.
More aid leaves the Aquabox depot
2nd August 2019
Friday 2nd August was another big day for sending out Aquabox aid consignments from our depot, with Family Filters leaving for the Assam Province in India and Gold Boxes destined for Malawi.
RIBI President visits Aquabox depot

20,000 Family Filters and counting…
28th May 2019
We have just reached a fantastic milestone! Our filter assemblers have produced the 20,000th Family Filter – a remarkable achievement. To put this into context, these filters will have had the potential to save well in excess of 120,000 lives, providing clean drinking water and preventing the spread of water-borne diseases.
