Pie & Pea Supper raises over £1,000 for Aquabox

A fabulous evening of traditional Ceilidh dancing with a Pie & Pea Supper held at Haarlem Mill in Wirksworth on Friday 20th April raised over £1,000 for Aquabox. 

Aquabox receives Community Award from UPS

On a snowy Tuesday at the end of February, Matthew Gale and Claire Thompson, who are employees of UPS, visited the depot to present Aquabox with a cheque for $5,000, in recognition of its work across the globe to save lives and relieve suffering, as well as promoting volunteering in the local community.

Community Filters sent to Puerto Rico

20th February 2018

12 AquaFilter Community Units, generously funded by the Rotary Club of Dunwoody, Georgia, USA, and through the Charitable Fund of the Rotary District 6900, were picked up from the Aquabox depot on 20th February bound for Puerto Rico.

Caribbean Update

As a result of Hurricane Maria that swept through the Caribbean in September last year our air shipment of AquaFilter Family and Community units finally reached St Croix, US Virgin Islands on 31st October where Rotary District 7020 took over responsibility for distribution to the British Virgin Islands, St Maarten/Saint Martin and Anguilla.

Last year Aquabox celebrated its 25th anniversary and thanks to your wonderful support we are still going strong, continuing to respond to disasters across the globe and providing life-giving water as well as vital items of humanitarian aid.

Providing safe drinking water after the devastation of the hurricanes in the Caribbean

In response to the devastation caused by the Category 5 Hurricanes Irma and Maria throughout the Caribbean, Aquabox has dispatched 180 AquaFilter Family units to the British Virgin Islands, which suffered widespread destruction. The filters will provide much-needed safe drinking water and will be distributed by Rotary District 7020.
