Ashbourne CAMRA event turns beer into water!

Many of us will have heard of the miracle of turning water into wine at the Marriage at Cana, but at the recent Beer and Cider Festival organised by the Ashbourne Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), visitors managed to achieve the opposite – well hypothetically speaking!

No, not the one at the Royal Albert Hall! This is a charity concert in aid of Aquabox organised by the Rotary Clubs of Doncaster St. Leger and Mexborough at Doncaster Minster on Saturday 27th October starting at 7pm.
Winster Quiz for Aquabox

Every month there is a quiz in the Winster village hall, to have fun but also to raise money for local groups and charities. On Friday 26th October Aquabox volunteer Geoff Lester is organising one for Aquabox, with Geoff and his wife asking the questions.
Wirksworth Wizarding Day raises over £2,000 for Aquabox

Wirksworth was transformed with imaginative displays in shop windows, weird and wonderful goods for sale, strange potions to drink, a double decker bus to ride and owls, snakes, lizards and spiders to handle!
Aquabox Offers Pure Water For CAMRA Beer Festival!

This may not immediately seem the obvious combination – water at a beer festival! – but Aquabox was delighted to be chosen as the charity supported at the recent Ashbourne CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) beer festival.
